Under new ownership, the Carnoustie Golf Hotel embarked on an ambitious transformation to become a premier destination for golf, luxury accommodation, and spa retreats. AGM Group was engaged early in the process, selected for our proven ability to deliver high-quality construction and integrated M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) design services. Working in close collaboration with the client, design team, and hotel management, AGM led a full-scale refurbishment, modernising the facility while preserving its operational integrity.

Project Challenges

One of the most significant challenges was maintaining the day-to-day operation of the hotel, spa, and golf course throughout the renovation. With a full calendar of high-profile events—including The Senior Open presented by Rolex and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship—minimising disruption was paramount. The complexity of the programme required expert scheduling, detailed stakeholder coordination, and meticulous planning.
